WizIQ Chats on iOS Mobile Devices

Apple recently introduced an upgrade to ver 9.x of their iOS used on iPhone and iPad mobile devices. With this upgrade, a WizIQ chat session within our MoodleRooms learning environment WILL NOT display on these mobile devices! Students MUST visit the AppleStore, download, and install the WizIQ app if they wish to continue using their iOS mobile device to participate in WizIQ chat rooms. After installing the app, students should login to MoodleRooms, locate, and launch their WizIQ chat room as before. The WizIQ app installed on your mobile device will detect the launch of your chat room and establish a direct connection between your mobile device and the WizIQ server. The new app chat room screen will look slightly different than what you have seen in the past; but all of the same functionality is still there for you to participate in the chart session. This direct connection between your mobile device and the WizIQ server should also serve to improve the quality and responsiveness of your chat session experience.
